Heather McNeel, Human Resources Consultant, and her dog Timber enjoy helping the community

Tailored strategies, "full-circle" results.

Heather McNeel, founder of CORE, has successfully helped clients recruit top talent and build effective hiring processes and strategies for over a decade.

Her specialty is individually tailoring services for each client’s particular needs and circumstances, while at the same time creating a comprehensive staffing strategy aligned with each organization's long-term goals.

"It's really important that companies think about their HR functions as integral to their bottom line, and that it isn't just about getting people in the door," she said. "It's about finding the right people, keeping those people, and creating a culture that fuels talent and success. Helping companies achieve that is what I enjoy the most, because the results are tangible -- you can really see the difference in what a company can achieve."

Whether it’s implementing a recruiting philosophy, developing a branding and messaging strategy, or looking at ways to keep top talent happy, Heather has helped companies focus on the big picture and think "full-circle" when developing a successful long-term hiring approach. She incorporates the highest quality standards, leading edge strategies, a fresh mindset, and best practices.

Heather has earned a Psychology degree from the University of Washington and remains an active alumni supporter. She maintains balance in her life by traveling with her husband, scuba diving whenever possible, snow skiing and hiking. She enjoys daily play time with their 9 year old Golden Retriever, Timber, who is a certified working therapy dog. Together they volunteer at hospitals, assisted living facilities and for a children’s literacy program, Reading with Rover.
